Eureka- Winter Bear

For todays card, I decided to

use the stamp Winter Bear.

He's a cute little guy!

Actually, all of

Eureka's stamps

are cute!

I used a simple design for this card.
I wanted to really spotlight the image.

I used one of my favorite techniques -

coloring on colored paper.

I like to use Bazzil paper as it

has some texture to it and that

really helps to pop the colors out.

The word stamp is from QKR Stampede,

a sister company to Eureka

Bibilical Impressions- Saddle Bag

Today is my first posting for

Biblical Impressions for 2012!

For my card today, I used the image

Saddle Bag # 37917.

This card is really a reach for me -

I don't usually do things without color!

I decided to shake things up a bit and

do a monochromatic card. NO COLORING!

Wow. For me - that's a first!

I am pleased with how the card turned out though -

I think it goes well with the image!

I only used kraft paper and

Brushed Corduroy Distress ink on this card.

Hello and welcome to

Clear Dollar Stamps,

Clearly Inspired Challenge #40.

The challenge this time was to use a flower image.

I used the Chrysanthemum FOM for November

(released in September of this year).

I wanted to so something a little

different with this card.

I used the paragraph about the flower

as my main image in the design.

To accomodate this large image -

I made a card that will fit into a #10 business envelope.

I distressed the paper with distress ink

in Antique Linen and Tea dye.

I distressed the oval a little heavier so that

the white would show up better.

I've always loved white mums -

they look so pretty for the holidays!

I then colored with colored pencil blended
with mineral spirits.

Wanted to neigh hello - Biblical Impressions

Hello Friends!

Today's card is from Biblical Impressions.

I used the stamps Fence line Chat #37510 and

Neigh Hello #37511.

I added color with colored pencils blended with mineral spirits.

I masked the words so that I could place them where I wanted them.

Whoo hoo! Here is a challenge I can

For my card I used the new set

from Clear Dollar Stamps
October release,

Build A Quilt stamp set with

the Build A Quilt matching die set.

What could be prettier than a pink quilt?

I love how this turned out!

For the tag I used the die cut

from the tabs and tags set.

Eureka! Fall Pumpkin Square

Today's card features a stamp from

Eureka called Pumpkin Square.

I kept it pretty simple.

First I distressed the white square

with Distress inks, then I stamped the image in black.

I added color with colored pencils.

The wrought iron fence is a die cut from Memory Box.

Hello Friends!

Today I am showing a card I made

with Eureka's stamp "Small Harvest Basket".

This makes a lovely fall card!

I cut a circle then stamped the image in black ink.

I then used Antique Linen Distress ink to antique the paper.

I then watercolored with Distress inks.

I finished the image by using a fine line black pen to enhance the lines.

The brads are some off brand brad I had in my collection.

I colored this cute little lamb with watercolors

and added lots of glitter to the hearts and her wool.

I am featuring one of the new sets

called Sunshine and Sunflowers.

I love this image!

I am a huge sunflower fan.

I did some distressing on the image before

watercoloring it using Distress inks.

One of my favorite techniques!

Background paper is from Gooseberry Patch- perfect for this image!
