First Day of School!

Ah yes, I remember those days! 

The first day of school!

 My kids are all grown up,

 but now I get to enjoy my grandchildren! 

Today I made an easel card using the digi 

Back to school Birdie. 

Birdie is just one of my FAVORITE Doodle Pantry Characters.

Background paper is from Cosmo Cricket. This card is a 5" square card.

I colored the image with colored pencils blended with mineral spirits.

CIC 57 Things with WINGS

Hello and welcome to my blog! 

It is CIC time with Clear Dollar Stamps! 

Today's challenge is 'Something with Wings"

I used a darling new digital image from CDS called 

Hoot hoots.

I printed the digi and then colored it with colored pencils. 

Background paper is from TPC.

I kept the design pretty simple to really spotlight the cute image.

For my card I have used the digi Gingerbread Ants.

I made this card a 5 x 7 size just for something different. 

I colored with colored pencils.

Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge #6

Hello! Todays challenge is hosted by Michele L. 

She challenged us to use the color theme

 black, white and a color of our choice! 

I love black and white and I chose to add RED to the mix. 

I made my card a 5 1/4" square card. I added a touch of color 

with Tombow markers and a waterbrush.

The flower die cut is from My Favorite Things.

Eureka! Beach Boy

Hello! I can't believe it's the end of July already!!

 Where has summer gone!!!

 Today I am sharing with you a card I made using

 Eureka Stamps digital image, Beach Boy.

I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral sprits.

For fun I added a beach ball die cut (quick kuts) I found in my stash of stuff.

The 'suds' are glitter. I hand wrote the words.

 The flag die and the daisy die are from My Favorite Things. 

I love the 'country' feel of this card ! Hence the words on the flag! lol
