Release day for Clear Dollar Stamps!

Hello and welcome to my blog!
 Today is the monthly release day for
 Clear Dollar Stamps December Digitals!

My first card uses the darling digi designed by
 our very own Lisa Lara!
 It is called Pal Penguins.

Just love these cute little guys!!
 I kept the design very simple. 
Lots of layers. It is winter after all, right? 
Coloring was done with watercolor crayons.

My next card uses the new digital from
 Austin Owens called Flower Garden.
 I kept the design very simple with this one as well. 
I wanted the flower to be the focus of the card. 
Coloring was done with watercolor crayons.

Clean and Simple Meow! Clearly Digital Stamps CIC 64


Hello and welcome to CIC #64 - 
Clean and Simple! 
I used Lisa Lara's Meow digital for my card. 
I love this set!!


I kept the card simple by just 
using squares as my base. 

Background paper is a double sided
 paper from Bo Bunny - I used both sides.
 I watercolored the image with Distress inks
 and a little bit of Tombow markers.
 I added the design on the package 
with a white Signo pen.

Release day for Clearly Digital Stamps

Hello and welcome to release day
 for Clear Digital Stamps!!

 I am excited to share with you two
 new sets by one of our newest designers,
 Austin Owens! 
I love her cute and fun style!!

My first card uses an image from her set 
Decorative Flowers.


I used watercolor crayons to color the image.

My next card uses an image from the set 
CURLY GIRLS!! 
I love this set!!


I always wanted to have red curly hair! 
I also used my watercolor crayons on this card.

More Flakes from Clear Dollar Stamps

Hello there! Happy November!!
 Things are cooling down here in Minnesota. 
I suspect we will be seeing some 
snow in our near future!
 Today's card uses Lisa Lara's cute
 digital set Flakes
Love these little snowmen!

I colored him with Tombow markers
 and a waterbrush. 

The icicle border is a die cut
 from My Favorite Things.

CIC #63 Critters

Hello and welcome to

I watercolored the images 
with watercolor crayons. 
The rose is something I have had 
in my stash for a long time! 
Finally had a reason to use it!

More Flakes from Clear Dollar Stamps!

Hello, I am back with another snowman
 from the Flakes set by Lisa Lara. 
I think this one is my favorite from the set. 
This is the windy snowman.


I added color with colored pencils.
 I cut out his scarf and popped it up
 to give a little more dimension to the card. 
The snowflake corner die
 is a Memory Box die.

Poppies from Doodle Pantry

Today's card is a digital image from
 Doodle Pantry called Poppies. 
This image is so realistic! 
Laurie always does such a 
great job with her digis!!


I colored this with colored pencils and then went over the image lightly with some distress ink. I embossed the background paper with a striped 
embossing folder and then distressed that as well.

Digital Release for Clear Dollar Stamps

Hello everyone! It's that time of the month!
 Clearly Digital image release!
Today I am debuting two new digital sets
 available right now at CDS!!

My first sample uses her new set:
Sunflower

I REALLY love this sunflower image. 
The bold lines make it really fun to color.
 I used Distress inks as watercolors to color this. 
I added a touch of toffee chalk ink around the edges.

My next card uses Austin's set - Tulips


For this card I also used Distress inks, 
layering shades of pinks and reds.
I love pink tulips! They just make me smile!

CIC 61 Sentiments Only

Hello and welcome to the 
Clear Dollar Stamps CIC Challenge #61! 

The challenge this time was SENTIMENTS ONLY.
 I used a sweet new digi designed by our very own Lisa Lara.


As much as I don't want to admit it, snow is not too far away!
I added color to this digi with Tombow markers.
The Snowflake frame and snowflakes are from Spellbinders.
I added some 'snow' with a snow marker.
 It is sort of like liquid applique, but it seemed to puff up more.

Garden by Austin Owens

Today's post features a lovely digital image

This one is called "Garden"
I used the words as my focal point and then used
 a flower digi and flipped the image and merged them.

A little distress ink and some colored pencil and you have a nice simple card!
