Patriotic Horses from Biblical Impressions!

Hello Friends!
Today is my first official post as a
Biblical Impressions Design Team member!
Biblical Impressions is a sister company
 to QKR Stampede and Eureka!
They have a lot of lovely stamps!
I hope you will head on over and check them out!
My card today uses the image Patriotic Horses.
A great image for the horse lover you may know!

I love this image!
I watercolored the image and doodled the
barbed wire around the edges with a fine line black pen.
I made this card 5 x 7 to accommodate the larger image.
Thanks for stopping today!
See you next time!

For my card today I used an
older CDS set called Cute Critters.

I love this skunk image.

A pink skunk! Who would have thought?! lol

I used the sketch from the last CiC challenge.

My background paper is from My Minds Eye.
I used both sides of the paper.
The cards is made from Bazzil.
A few pink rhinestones add a little bling.
I watercolored the skunk using Angora watercolors.
I mixed two pinks to get the right shade.

Clearly Inspired Challenge #30

Greetings CDS Fans!
Todays Challenge was to use the sketch provided for us.

This was a fun one. I love how my card turned out!
I used an older CDS stamp set called
 Everyday Jar-gon Additions.
One of my favorite sets from last fall!
I was thinking summer when I made this card!

My paper is plain white Strathmore paper
 distressed with Antique Linen and
 Scattered Straw Distress inks.
The background paper is from October Afternoon.
I used my circle, oval and lacy oval nestabilities.
I then doodled around the edges to
give some definition to the white paper.

Thanks for stopping today!
I hope you will join in the fun with this challenge!
Check out the Clearly I Stamp blog for all the details!

Until next time ~

Hi there - today is the day for
Clear Dollar Stamps June digi release!
I have used the image Daisy for my card today.

Just for fun I made this card 5 x 7.
I love the daisy image and wanted to use it in a larger format.
I distressed the background with antique linen distress ink
and then watercolored with DerWent Intense pencils.
Background paper is from October Afternoon.
The word Daisy is also from this set.
I used my Nestabilities Labels Seventeen -
one of my new favorites.
Thanks for stopping today!
I hope you will leave a comment - it's always  nice to hear from you!
See you soon!

 of Eureka Stamps design team!
I am thrilled to be able to show you some of their great designs!

Todays card features two of their patriotic images.

Patriotic Puppy 331043 and Patriotic Kitty 33001.

I distressed the circles first then stamped images in black.
Added color with colored pencil blending with mineral spirits.
Then I distressed over the top once again.

The background paper is some I have had for a while -
I can't remember who's paper it is, sorry!

Clearly Inspired Challenge #29 - Distressing

Greetings Bloggers!
Today's Clearly Inspired Challenge,
brought to you from Clear Dollar stamps,
 is all about distressing.
DIstressing os one of my favorite techniques!

For my card today I used the set "We belong Together".

I distressed the circle with Distress inks,
Antique Linen, Scattered Straw & Tea Dye.
I then stamped the image in black ink and
colored with colored pencil.
After coloring I added more distress ink over the top.
A little glitter on the french fries
makes it look like they are salted.
The background paper is from Graphic 45.

Thanks for stopping today!
I hope you will enter the challenge!
There are prizes to be won!

See you next time!
