Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge #6

Hello! Todays challenge is hosted by Michele L. 
She challenged us to use the color theme
 black, white and a color of our choice! 
I love black and white and I chose to add RED to the mix. 


I made my card a 5 1/4" square card. I added a touch of color 
with Tombow markers and a waterbrush.
The flower die cut is from My Favorite Things.

Eureka! Beach Boy

Hello! I can't believe it's the end of July already!!
 Where has summer gone!!!
 Today I am sharing with you a card I made using
 Eureka Stamps digital image, Beach Boy.

I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral sprits.
For fun I added a beach ball die cut (quick kuts) I found in my stash of stuff.
Background paper is Cosmo Cricket.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #156

Hello! This week Doodle Pantry is sponsoring 


I used one of my favorite digis from

I watercolored using Distress Inks. 
The 'suds' are glitter. I hand wrote the words.
 The flag die and the daisy die are from My Favorite Things. 
I love the 'country' feel of this card ! Hence the words on the flag! lol

Eureka Beach Girl

Happy Saturday! Today I am featuring a digital image 
from Eureka called Beach Girl.
 Isn't she just cute with her little floatie! 
I paired her with the saying Fun in the sun.

I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits.
The paper are from Jillibean and Cosmo Cricket.

Clear Dollar Stamps CIC 56



Hello - welcome to Clear Dollar Stamps Clearly Inspired Challenge #56! The challenge this time is Get Wet. I used an older image called Sails, Subs and Tugs. Great images for a masculine themed card!

I colored the image with colored pencils an blended with mineral spirits.
 I hand wrote the words on the fishtail flag.
 I added some diamond glaze to make the water look wet.

Clear Dollar Stamps Digital Relase

Welcome to the July Digital release for Clear Dollar Stamps!
 We have some SUPER CUTE new digis being release today!!!
 Let's get to it!!
My first cards uses a new set from one of our
 newest designers, Austin Owens!
This set is called "Sheepies"


I used some distress inks to create the grass and the sky.

Card # 2 a set also from Austin -
Birthday Invitations


I used the Distress Inks summer colors set to paint the image.

Card # 3 uses a set from Lisa Lara called
 Cherries on top


This set is just so cute!!! Love the cherries!
I colored with colored pencil and then used some 
diamond glaze to make it look like they are in a glass jar!

Today's challenge was to use a Summer time theme for your project. 
I made a card using the digital image Mushroom Lane.
To me, mushrooms just scream summertime!


I colored the image with Tombow markers and a waterbrush.
My background paper is from Imaginese.

It's all about AUSTIN!

Todays post features a new digital artist I have found - 


 I LOVE her digi's!

 She has recently joined the design team at Clear Dollar Stamps.
 I hope you will love her as much as I do!!

My cards today use her digis from the Tea Party set!


I distress the paper with distress inks and then colored with colored pencil. 
Background paper is from Graphic 45.
 Makes me just want to have a tea party!!

Card #2 is the teapot digi from the set.


I added color to this one with watercolor crayons. 
The rose is made from felt. rolled rose die from My Favorite Things.

The Bright Colors of SUMMER!



Hello and welcome to Clear Dollar Stamps July Blog hop! I hope you arrived here via Deonna's blog! If not - pop on over to the newly designed CDS DIGITAL Blog and start from the beginning!! The new blog is simply beautiful!! You must check it out!!
 The theme for this month is the Bright colors of Summer! My favorite season!! For my card - I used an image that was released in June of this year called Hanging out. 

I made this an easel card. I have not made made easel card for a 
while and this seemed to be the perfect image for it!

I made this card to be a 5" square card. 
The papers are from Pebbles and Bazzil.
 I colored with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits.
 I added a bit of bakers twine and a couple of mini clothes pins.

I love this realistic image!

I watercolored the image with Tombow markers.

Introducing the new Eureka Stamps Design Team!

Welcome to the first blog hop for Eureka stamps to
 introduce our new Design team! 
I am happy to report that I was asked to stay on!
 There is lots of new talent on the team this time!
 I promise you will not be disappointed! 

My card today uses the digital stamp
 Sleeping puppy. 


He just looks so comfortable sleeping there. 
I colored him with watercolor crayons and fussy cut him 
out so it would look like he was laying on top of the card.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge

Today card is for Stampin' Sisters In Christ challenge - 
sponsored by DOODLE PANTRY! 

The recipe -use at least 1 circle or oval element, 
at least 2 different papers and at least 1 embellishment.

For my card I used a newly released
 digi called Snowball Ants.


I had fun making a winter themed card on this hot muggy day in Minnesota!!
I watercolored the image with watercolor crayons. 
I added lots of glitter and even a little bit of fun flock on the words.

Clear Dollar Stamps CIC 55

Hello - welcome to Clear Dollar Stamps Clearly Inspired Challenge #55! The challenge this time is Some Like It HOT. This theme was open to interpretation, so I used colors from the warm side of the color wheel! I used a new digi from our designer Lisa Lara called Scoops. 


I printed my digi onto printed paper (by Jilli Bean) and then did some paper piecing. The large flag die is from Lil' Inkers. I hope you will join us in this challenge!

Doodle Pantry July Release!!

Hello!! It's hard to believe it's July already!!!! 
Laurie at Doodle Pantry has some 
super cute new digis being released this month!!
I thought I'd share my card using the digi Bottle Rocket Ants. 
Just in time for the 4th of July!

Those silly ants are always up to something!
I made this card a 5 x 7 size. 
I distressed the white paper with distress ink to 
make it match the background paper. 
After I colored the image with colored pencils,
 I added more distress ink.
