9 months on the inside! Bugaboo stamps

This is one of the cutest digital stamps ever!
What a great stamp to use for a baby announcement!
It is from Bugaboo Stamps.
Bugaboo has some of the cutest digi's around!
This one is called Bentley on the inside.

I printed Bentley onto white paper and then
did some distressing with Antique linen Distress Ink
with a touch of Tea dye ink around the edges.
Background paper comes from Basic Grey.
Of course I used my favorite circle Nestabilities.

I can hardly believe it has been one week
since my darling grandbaby, Carson, arrived!
Here is his 1 week photo!

I can't decide which pic is my favorite!

He certainly is precious!
It's back to work for me tomorrow.
I am so glad I got to spend his first week
on 'the outside' with him!
Thanks for visiting today!
I'd love it if you left me a comment!
See you soon!

Just for fun - thank you cards!

Today's post are a couple of cards I made
for thank you cards for the wonderful RN (Nan)
who made my grandson's delivery such a special day!

This first card is an older Penny Black
stamp I have had forever.
I love pulling out some of my old favorite
wood mounted stamps and using them again.

I kept the card design very simple to showcase this darling stamp.
I watercolored the image with Distress inks. I love the vibrant colors
you get with these inks.

My second card - also for Nan, features an older Inky Antics stamp.

This card I made in a smaller size, 3 x 5.
I did a little paper piecing with the teacup and also
popped up the front pansies so they popped out.
I watercolored this image with Distress inks as well.

Here is a recent photo of my little buckaroo!
He is showing off his new cowboy booties and hat!

Sweet baby! He is 6 days old in this photo!
He's changed so much already!

Thanks for visiting today!
I hope you will stop by again!

Introducing Carson Colin!

Hi Everyone! Great news!
 I am a grandma!
Carson Colin was born August 21st at 4:33 am.
On his mom's birthday no less! What a wonderful gift!
He weighed in at 7 lbs, 9 oz and was 20 inches long.
 He's perfect and beautiful!
Allow me to share a few of my most favorite pictures of him!

His newborn photo.

I have been practicing my photography skills.
He has been the Best model!

Those adorable feet!

I found this wonderful antique buggy.
Had some fun taking pictures of him in it.

Experimenting with different color treatments.
This one is the full color version.

Sepia tone.

Some old suitcases I found at
the same place I got the buggy.

Here is my beautiful daughter with her little man.

Tea-rriffic! New digital image from Clear Dollar Stamps

Greetings! I have a Tea rriffic card to share with you today.
I am very pleased with how this card turned out!
I love this new digital tea set from CDS.
This is from their August 2011 release.

For my card I used the
tea bag, flower label and the words You are tea-rriffic.

After printing the image - I distressed it using Spun Sugar and Tea dye.
I cut out the flower label and the tea bag to create a dimensional image.
I then used the distress inks Worn lipstick, Spiced Marmalade
and peeled paint to color the flowers and leaves.
Background paper is from Basic Grey.

Inside of card:

I used the same distress inks using the
direct to paper technique to add the color.
