For the background I used the Paisley Cuttlebug folder.
I stamped the image and then colored with colored pencil.
For the bling, I ran the image through my
Xyron machine and poured glitter over it all.

Here is a close up view:

Product Parade day FOUR

Welcome to day Clear Dollar Stamps
 Product Parade day four.

Today's featured sets are:
Bunny Kids
Wedding Cake
and
 Thanks for helping me bloom

Bunny Kids
For my bunny kids card,
 I distressed a circle with
Antique Linen and Spun Sugar distress inks.
I stamped the images in black ink and
 then colored with colored pencil.
The word Hello is from the For Our Men set.

After coloring, I again went over the colored image
with a light touch of Antique Linen distress ink.
I like the antique look it gives.
I then layered it onto a lacy circle (Nestabilites).
Background paper is from My Minds Eye.
I added some cream pearls in the corner.

Wedding Cake

This image I stamped in black onto
a white label (Nestabilites Label fifteen).
I added a touch of color with colored pencil.
I used the large rose from the set, stamped,
colored, cut them out and mounted
to card with mounting tape.
I added some purple rhinestones along the sides.

Thanks for helping me BLOOM

I paired the words with an
older CDS set called Cute Critters.
I fell in love with this skunk a while ago
and thought he went perfectly with these words!
I made the tag using my tabs and tags die cut set (CDS).
Background paper is from Bo Bunny. Other paper, Bazzil.
Image is colored with colored pencil.

All images are available from the Clear Dollar Stamps store!

More of My Favorite Things!

Hello and happy Sunday!
I am spending this gloomy Sunday in
my stamp room doing some "just for fun" stamping.
I got two new stamp sets from
They are quickly becoming favorites of mine!

My first card uses "Make Mine a Double".

Love this little girl stamp!
I paper pieced her dress so it would match the rest of the card.
The banner is a new die I got from Whimsy stamps.
I am in love with this die cut!
The tab is from Clear Dollar Stamps Tabs and Tags die cut set.
I used a little bit of twisted color twine to hang the banner.
I got the twine from MFT's as well!
Oh - paper is from MME Stella and Rose Collection.

Card  #2

For this card I used "Love you with all my Heart"
from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence line.

I used the same paper as the card above.
I made this card for a friend who recently lost her mother.
I loosely followed a sketch I found at Friday Sketches Blog.
Again I used the little banner in the corner.

Thanks for visiting today!

See you next time!

The challenge today was to make a CAS card.
Clean and Simple.

 well with clean and simple,
but I thought I'd give it a whirl!

For my card I used a digital image
from CDS called Chick Trio.

as a prize to the challenge winner!

I printed onto white paper and colored
with colored pencil blending with mineral spirits.
the background paper is a double sided (my favorite!)
paper from My Minds Eye.
I love to utilize BOTH sides of the paper.

I made this a top folding card for something different.
