Happy Memorial Day!

Hello blog Friends!
Happy Memorial Day - I hope this day finds
you enjoying the company of family and friends.

Todays cards are cards that I made for
friends who asked for end of the school year cards.

I had to put on my thinking cap,
but I am pretty pleased with the ones i came up with.
The first one is for a 7th grade girl.

I computer generated the sentiment.
The balloons are a Sizzix Die cut.
Paper is from Cottage Press Studio.

Inside of card:

My next card is for a 4th grade boy.

Popsicle is a Sizzix Die.
Paper is from Bazzil and Die Cuts with a view.
Computer generated sentiment.
Inside:

My next two cards I made for older boys.
I used the same sentiment for both.

I distressed the square with Antique Linen, Peeled Paint,
Faded Jeans and Scattered Straw inks to create my 'scene'.
I then stamped the image (Rubber Riot) and colored with
colored pencil. Background paper is from Fancy Pants.

Inside of card:

These two golf themed cards were made for brothers.

Image (Rubber Riot) was stamped in black
and then colored with colored pencil.
Background paper is also from Fancy Pants.
They have some great papers for guys!

4.0!

Today's card is one I made for a co-worker
who's daughter was being honored
for her 4.0 grade point average.

The stamps and die cuts are from My Favorite Things.
I also used their banner alphabet for the numbers.
I colored the image with colored pencil and paper pieced her dress.
The banner utilizes both sides of the paper which is from
My Minds Eye.
I added the pearl as a dot
between the numbers to make it 4.0.
Thanks for visiting today!
Comments are always welcome and appreciated!
Until next time ~

Hello there!

I masked the words so that they would fit onto each of the banners.
I colored the image with colored pencils.
I hope you will participate in this challenge!

Good Luck!

Pretty in pink

Hello Friends.
Today's card features an old stamp
from a company called Diamonds.
I was cleaning out some of my older stamps
for a garage sale when I came across this cutie.
Nothing like shopping in your own stuff!

I am happy to say I have a new cousin to send this card to!

I stamped the image on black onto watercolor paper.
I then watercolored the image.
I love the soft effect watercolor gives.
The card itself is made from a new
Sizzix die I bought at Archivers.
I believe it is an Archivers exclusive die.

The card is made from a piece of My Minds Eye paper.
The nice thing about double sided paper is
that the inside of the car is as pretty as the outside!
I added a small panel of plain white paper
on the inside so I could write a note.

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for
another great blog hop from Clear Dollar Stamps!

Thanks for stopping today!
Until next time.....

Sailboats in Red and Blue

Happy Friday!
Today's cards are just for fun stamping.
The image is from Unity stamps.

I made a set of these cards for a friend.
I kept them pretty simple since I was making quite a few.

The sailboat is stamped in pigment ink and embossed.
I then added a touch of watercolor.

Thanks for visiting today -
be sure and stop back on Sunday the 15th
for Clear Dollar Stamps monthly blog hop!

Clearly Inspired Challenge #27

Today's Clearly Inspired Challenge
was to use TURQUOISE in your card.

I used the digital image from
ClearDollar Stamps called Norman Snail.

After I printed Norman onto white paper,
I added a bit of Antique Linen Distress ink
to make the white less bright.
I then colored him with colored pencils
 blended with mineral spirits.
The background paper is from Wild Asparagus.

I hope you will enter the CiC challenge!
A lovely prize is up for grabs!
Thanks for stopping today!

See you next time~

Qkr Wednesday! Golfing Mouse

Hello QKR Fans!
Today's card features the stamp
 Golfing Mouse and Golf Ball.

Just love this little guy! He's all ready for spring and golfing!
I colored with colored pencil and blended with mineral spirits.

The background paper was a lucky find at the craft store!
It's from Scrappin Sports and more.
I was so excited to find such a perfect paper!

Here'a  detail shot of the card:

I stamped the golf balls and then cut them out
and attached them with mounting tape for dimension.

Thanks for stopping today!

See you soon!
