Clear Dollar Stamps July Blog Hop - Summertime!!!

Welcome to the Summertime Blog Hop
 for Clear Dollar Stamps!

If you arrived here from
CASSIE'S blog
you are in the right place.
Wasn't her project AMAZING???

If you just happened to stop by and
want to see the entire blog hop,
Click HERE to see it from the start!

For my card today I used another new Digital Image
 from CDS called Vegetable Garden.
I think of summer time as a time to get my garden growing!
How I love fresh from the garden cucumbers!

I used the cucumber image and
the words from our garden on my card.

I distressed the paper with Antique linen and
tea dye Distress Inks before coloring with
colored pencils blended with mineral spirits.
After I finished coloring I again rubbed
some more distress ink over the image.
The background paper is from Bo Bunny.

Be sure you leave a comment on each blog as
two lucky commenters will win a $10 gift certificate

Awesome coloring Barb! I'm just getting into watercoloring myself, and slowly learning. You are an inspiration.

Yep, I love summer for fresh vegetables too. Except I'm lucky enough to have a neighbor that shares! Oh and the farmers that bring in and sale from their truck...got fresh corn-on-cob yesterday...can't wait for dinner tonight!

Wow! Very Creative! Do you paint too? I use this technique with oil pastels. Love your card. I like the tea dye too.

Super card, and it certainly says 'summertime'! I just picked my first banana pepper from my 'garden' today. Gardens and fresh veggies just say 'summer,' don't they? Beautiful coloring and great job, Barb!

What a fabulous card Barb!!! Your right, home grown veges are the best. Too bad we have too many deer around who would love a garden full of veges!

Nice card, thanks for sharing (wish it was summer here in Australia - the vegetables are so expensive at the moment!)
