Sweet Sunday Sketch #161

Hello and thanks for stopping!
Today I am playing along with
The Sweetest Thing, Sweet Sunday Sketch
Karen always has some wonderful sketches!
For this card I used the digital image from
Doodle Pantry called Jug and bucket.

I colored the image with Distress inks, using them as watercolors.
I'm really happy with how it turned out!
I added a little silver Signo pen for the bands around the bucket.
The papers are from Simple Stories -  a new line I found at my local stamp store!
Love the country feel of these papers!
The die cuts are from My Favorite Things.
Thanks for visiting today!
Hope to see you back here again!

Love this, Barb! What a great layout. The colors and patterns, really make the bucket pop. Great watercoloring, too!

I've never coloured with distressed inks, they're awesome! The gingham in the background gives the card a great country feel, love it.
